We will post letters twice a month in the 1st and 3rd week of the month. So depending on your location, you should receive your letter by the end and middle of the month. Our international fans will likely have to wait slightly longer.
We are using First Class Singpost mail, and will mail your letter in the 1st and 3rd week each month. Sometimes mail can take up to six weeks to arrive depending on your location and postal service in your country.
If you haven't received your letter after 6 weeks, please do contact us, and we will pop another letter in the post to you right away.
You can join anytime. We will mail your 1st letter in the 1st or 3rd week of the month (whichever mailing date is closest to your subscription date).
Absolutely! The Butterfly Letters make wonderful gifts to loved ones and to yourself (self-care anyone?). Simply purchase your chosen collection as normal and indicate the recipient's address on the shipping page. We will then post out your letter as a surprise.
You can also purchase gift certificates in our shop.
All our letters are copies of an originally handcrafted letter, that is written and designed by hand. Some of our letters feature the real handwriting of the author, which we have converted into a font, so the letter is customised to the author's real handwriting.
Each letter is a fully designed and written A4 letter. Most letters contain text for the front and back, along with accompanying art.
Most of our collections are suitable to read to children. In fact some of our upcoming collections are being specifically designed for children.
If a particular collection is for 'adults-only', we will indicate an age-advisory notice on that particular collection's description page.
If there is no age-advisory mentioned, it is suitable for younger audiences to read.
You can sign up to receive monthly letters and cancel at any time. Or you can opt for 6 or 12 months subscription and pay monthly or in one full amount. Each collection runs for 12 months. Our 12 months subscription comes with a bonus letter. You will be billed monthly.
Depending on the collection and length of your subscription, you will receive monthly letters (1 or 2 letters per month) for the duration of your subscription Some collections also include postcards, and other goodies and props that become part of the story.
Some letters may include art, puzzles, games, trinkets, stickers and other surprises along the way.
Absolutely we do! We can post to most addresses internationally.
You can request a refund within 30 days of your purchase. We will refund you the remaining part of your subscription (for unsent letters), no questions asked :)
We offer free gifts or bonus offers for our longer subscriptions. When you avail a free gift, you are commiting to complete the subscription length. We send the free gift to you on the basis of you commiting to the full subscription term. We can not refund or offer partial refunds on promo offers where a free gift has already been sent out.
